Making plants a priority on your plate
and for our planet
My Training
I graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I received my Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification. I acquired innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, macrobiotics and everything in between. I chose to specialize in the one that resonated with me the most. Because of my own healing journey and because it is the only way of eating (proven by science) that can actually reverse disease. At IIN, I also studied with the world’s top health and wellness experts and educators including:
Joshua Rosenthal, founder and director of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition
T. Colin Campbell PhD, bio-chemistry professor emeritus at Cornell University and founder of Center of Nutrition Studies
Walter Willett MD, chair of Nutrition at Harvard University
Andrew Weil, director of The Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine
Gabrielle Bernstein, best selling author and life coach
Susan Blum, MD MPH, assistant clinical professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine
Mark Hyman, MD, founder of The UtraWellness Center at the Cleveland Clinic
Geneen Roth, best selling author and expert on emotional eating
David Wolfe, raw food leader and nutrition expert
Marion Nestle, PhD, MPH, professor at New York University’s Department of Nutrition, Food Studies and Public Health
Mark Bittman, food writer for the New Your Times and best selling author
Joel Fuhrman, MD, family physician and expert on nutritional healing

I am working on and will be receiving my plant-based specialty certification through T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University.
My education at IIN has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic plant based nutrition, health coaching and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes and choose health promoting ways that produce real and lasting results. You will develop a deeper understanding of food and lifestyle choices that work best for you, improving energy while balancing health and happiness. You will also learn ways to create a more sustainable, planet friendly home environment.
Each session will leave you feeling inspired, empowered and motivated. We will talk about things beyond what you are putting in your mouth. We will be giving attention to important elements of your life such as love and relationships as well as career, reconnecting or starting with a spiritual and/or meditation practice and building a strong, supportive social life and community. I will personally and carefully guide you to make simple, small changes that transform your life.

About Me

I was raised outside of Portland, Oregon. In 1996 I purposefully chose the hottest, driest place in the country to call home. I fell in love with Chandler, Arizona from the first day I visited. I was a salon owner for 30 years and have always been interested in nutrition and the sustainability of our beautiful planet. Most of my conversations with clients centered around nutrition, healthy restaurants and recipes. As I was transforming, everyone wanted to know what I was doing.
After my mother passed from Alzheimer’s, I became very interested in brain health as well and the gut-brain connection. How everything we do (and don’t do), contributes to everything we are. For the last 5 years I have been doing extensive research on diabetes and how a plant-based diet can reverse it. In my spare time I read, watch and listen to everything I can on nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. After I became sick, then healed myself through nutrition, I realized my passion and knowledge could really help others. I decided to go back to school so I could make a difference for people who are tired of feeling that no one is listening when they know in their gut, something is very wrong.
My hobbies include hiking, yoga, jewelry design, plant based cooking and organizing YOUR kitchen. I have a wonderful supportive man in my life and two Beagliers, Chandler and Elliot.
